Single mothers who have fought tooth and nail to get child support for children that are raised only by you without any help from the father(s). I am a fulltime mother, educator, accounting assistant, and everything else that mothers are responsible for on a daily basis. I have a child support case in the state of Texas...need I say more. I have beautiful children that I am proud of, however, my daughter's father Timothy Hampton stop paying child support in January 2008. He lives in Tampa Florida, works full-time, and he published three books. He never paid for health insurance that was court ordered; his child support payments that was set up shortly after our daughter was born. Our daughter was born 12 years ago and all he has to pay is $325.00 a month! I never asked him for anything extra within the 12 years even when he received promotions at work, or profits from his three books. I never told him he couldn’t see or talk to our daughter when he didn't pay. I'm not one of those mothers that try to hold my children as ransom; especially on $325.00. I provide everything for our daughter when I am working full-time. I even worked two jobs to make ends meet...you know how it is. I asked him to provide health insurance for our daughter and he told me "Get it from those white folks you report me too". It's amazing to me how he portrays to be a good father when he is around his girlfriend, friends, and family. Little do know! I know there are fathers out there who refuse to do anything for their children and he is always stating that there are mother who doesn't receive child support. True, but we both grew up without support of parents, so he knows what it is like growing up without financial support.
